Man believed shot in Hallam

A man has presented to hospital with an apparent gunshot wound, police say.

Investigators believe that the shooting may have occurred at Nettle Drive, Hallam with reports of gunshot sounds in the area about 6pm on Sunday 6 October.

The wounded man is in a stable condition, police say.

A female is assisting with police enquiries.
