Young child fatally struck by car in Hallam

A young child has been killed after being struck by a car in Hallam on Sunday 9 October.

Emergency services were called shortly after the incident in Arrino Crescent about 5pm but the 3-year-old child could not be revived, police say.

The car’s driver, a 36-year-old Hallam man, stopped at the scene and has spoken to police.

Casey Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
