A $1 million pavilion at Endeavour Hills Tennis Club has been officially opened by Casey Council.
The project at Sydney Parkinson Reserve includes a new clubhouse with a large social room, covered veranda, built-in barbecue, office, storeroom and a paved pathway to the eight tennis courts.
It also provides amenities for males, females and all-abilities.
The club’s former ‘log cabin’ pavilion has been relocated to the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick.
Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said the council was thrilled to deliver a modern tennis facility in Endeavour Hills.
“The City of Casey is committed to providing access to a range of sport, recreation and leisure
opportunities for our community,” Cr Ablett said.
“One way we do this is by investing in infrastructure to enable our communities to participate in
physical activity close to home and support our sporting clubs to thrive.”
