POLICE have released another image in relation to a harrowing robbery near Fountain Gate last month.
The new information comes as a schoolgirl is thought to be among a group of youths who robbed and threatened a 16-year-old with box cutters near the shopping centre in November.
The victim was walking along Victor Crescent in Narre Warren toward the shopping centre on Wednesday 5 November about 5.30pm when he was approached by three male and one female youths.
It’s understood the group stood in front of the teenager and tried to engage him in conversation, before demanding his phone and money and threatening him with yellow box cutters.
The victim handed over his Medion mobile phone and $15 to the group which then fled towards the Monash Freeway.
The female is believed to be 15 to 16 years old and Asian in appearance, with long, dark brown hair with light brown streaks running through it.
She was wearing a white shirt and blue skirt at the time, which is believed to be a school uniform.
The first male, who police released a FACE image of last Thursday, is believed to be Caucasian and 16 years old, approximately 178 centimetres tall, with a solid build, blonde curly hair and is missing his front two upper teeth.
He was also wearing a white T-shirt and dark track suit pants at the time.
The second male is also believed to be Caucasian and 16 years old, approximately 170 centimetres tall, with a slim build and brown hair.
He was wearing a black shirt and holding a can in his left hand at the time.
The third male, who police have also released an image of, is believed to be Caucasian and 20 years old, approximately 178 centimetres tall, with a fit build and short brown hair.
He was unshaven at the time and wearing a blue jacket.
