A BERWICK resident who heard noises from outside his house was confronted by three men at his door on Tuesday 31 March.
About 5.50am, the 34-year-old man heard noises out the front of his Glenisla Way house, only to be confronted by three males who made demands and tried to enter his home.
After the man retreated, the men left.
Soon afterwards, the complainant followed the three men.
The Berwick man said he saw them get into a car and get out. Armed with a shotgun, one man aimed the gun at the victim.
The victim who ran away was chased by the men who pistol whipped him.
He then made it back inside with minor injuries, and the men tried to re-enter and eventually left.
