Vincent Meyer is wanted over a serious assault and is known to frequent Hallam.
Police are appealing for public help to find the 27-year-old.
There is a warrant out for his arrest over the alleged assault in Collingwood in July 2014.
He was last seen in the County Court precinct, William Street, Melbourne, on 24 July this year and is also known to frequent South Melbourne.
Meyer is described as 180 centimetres tall with a solid build, brown eyes, short hair and tanned complexion.
