CLUB Noble continues to lead the way with their commitment to and support of the local community.
Recently the clubrooms at Moodemere Reserve underwent a much-needed renovation, thanks to the generosity of Club Noble and a contribution from Dandenong Council.
“The renovations and extension to the football and cricket clubs’ change rooms have provided a first class facility,” Club Noble President, Barry Bradshaw said.
“The total outlay has exceeded $700,000 and we’re very appreciative of Dandenong Council for a grant of $150,000 towards the overall cost.
“We now have a first class sporting facility, one of the best in our City and one that the whole community can be very proud of.”
Club Noble’s newly appointed Sports and Community Liaison Officer, Trish Marson added, “This is only a part of what Club Noble offer the community. The Club has something for everyone with seven sporting clubs, a business club, social groups and a strong commitment to its community.”
On October 21, at the Sofitel on Collins, Community Clubs Victoria (CCV) presented their 2014 Annual Awards to Victorian clubs, in recognition of the contributions to their members and local communities. A highlight of the awards was the presentation to Club Noble for ‘Best Youth Development Program’ for its initiatives in undertaking five Active After School Communities programs including two for Aussie rules football, two cricket and one tennis program. All that along with being involved with the Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning’s (SAIL) tennis program involving 75 Sudanese children from the local area.
