WAVERLEY Gardens was recently sold and is now under new management.
Global property services firm Jones Lang LaSalle has taken control of the centre, which has approximately 100 speciality retailers including all the major banks as well as Coles, Woolworth, Aldi, Target and Big W.
New centre manager Tim Grigg said he was excited to be working alongside the new owners to reinvigorate the shopping centre.
“Our plans aim to focus on the strengths of the centre with the emphasis focused on embracing the local community,” Mr Grigg said.
“The centre needs to meet the needs of the locals by becoming the community hub and satisfying the ever-increasing demand for convenience.
“The Waverley Gardens customer shopping experience will also be enhanced by the inclusion of marketing promotions and events tailored to reward shoppers, along with the upgrade of internal furnishings.
“The team at Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre is looking forward to building long-lasting relationships with the community and being regarded as the most convenient local shopping centre for all essential needs under one roof,” he said.
