STUDENTS at Doveton’s Maranatha Christian School got some first-hand football tips from Tiger land.
Richmond Football Club’s Ben Griffiths, Nathan Drummond and Jacob Townsend visited the excited school students and ran drills.
Grade two to grade five classes got the special treatment and played games designed to encourage team work on and off the ground.
The players held a captive audience as they provided an insight into life as an AFL player.
The young cohort was encouraged to get involved in the game and told about the benefits of keeping active.
